Here’s a brief look at my music history.

 

BIO: Terry Winchell’s musical style beautifully combines indie folk, blues, and country rock, often carrying an ethereal essence. Her heartfelt vocals, with meticulously crafted instrumentation, resonate deeply with her audience. Growing up on the East End of Long, New York, Terry developed a deep love for nature, influenced by the nearby farmland and ocean. Her experiences as a performer have shaped her diverse musical style, drawing inspiration from legendary artists like Joni Mitchell, Otis Redding, The Beatles, and James Taylor. Terry pours her life experiences into her music, sharing her stories recordings, broadcasts, and live performances. She graced both large venues and intimate festivals as a headliner and opening act across the U.S. and, sharing the stage with esteemed artists such as John Hammond and Taj Mahal.

 

After releasing her album "Blue Flower" in 2016, Terry moved to the Southwest, where she spent eleven years performing and creating art. She has recently returned to her Long Island roots. Terry looks forward to recording new songs inspired by her time in New Mexico and performs both solo and with various dynamic ensembles.
